Some browsers, including Firefox and Safari, automatically check for RSS feeds for you when you visit a website and display an icon when they find one.
At the moment (as far as we know) Internet Explorer version 7 is the only IE version to offer any RSS feed integration.
If your browser displays a page of code rather than the actual 'feed' when you click on an RSS link you will need to use a reader or even download the latest version of Firefox (a superior browser anyway!).
Firefox 2 enables you to bookmark feeds as 'live bookmarks' .
Alternatively, you can set the Firefox preferences to open another software reader by default, in which case the link will be automatically added to your preferred software reader.
To do this go to the preferences menu - choose Feeds - set the option to subscribe to the feed using a reader - choose the application.
