Rockfeedback Concerts presents...
Celebrating
the launch of Gang Colours' (aka Will Ozanne) debut album 'The Keychain
Collection' released on Giles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings.
it’s the emotive, dreamy quality of ‘The Keychain Collection’ that strikes you from the outset. Floating in ambiguity, its organic simplicity leads to a unique groove.
Taking a step back from chopped ‘n’ screwed RnB vocals and the swing of UKG, ‘The Keychain Collection’ explores more sombre recesses within Gang Colours’ palette.
The scattered technicolour synth melodies that characterised his EP (‘In Your Gut Like A Knife’) are present, but softer, woven between forthright piano chords and Will’s own vocals.

Tim Berne's Snake Oil is a potent blend of new voices and new ideas featuring saxophonist Tim Berne alongside Oscar Noriega (woodwinds), Matt Mitchell (piano) and Ches Smith (percussion).
Named one of New York’s most influential jazz musicians, Tim Berne has long been a serious influence on the UK jazz scene. His multi-faceted music has influenced a whole generation of younger musicians such as Kit Downes, Rory Simmons and Dave Smith.

An
evening with the incomparable Jah Wobble including a Q&A hosted by Master
of Ceremonies and regular Wire Magazine contributor Clive Bell, a bass master
class from the man himself and a rare performance by Jah Wobble & The
Modern Jazz Ensemble.
As well as breaking new ground, via fresh, powerful and unique compositions, Jah Wobble and his band pay passing tribute to musical heroes such as Miles Davis (Electric Period), Donald Bird, Dave Brubeck, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Weather Report and others.
The Modern Jazz Ensemble comprises Clive Bell (flute), Marc Layton-Bennett (drums), Sean Corby (trumpet), Neville Murray (percussion) and Jah Wobble (bass).
Expect monstrous grooves and daring-do improvisation. Unmissable!

Library Tapes’ music sits somewhere between classical, ambient and experimental, but is always beautiful, subtle and affecting.
Primarily the project of Eskilstuna resident David Wenngren, Library Tapes has also included contributions from luminaries such as Peter Broderick, Julia Kent, Sylvain Chauveau and Danny Norbury.
"There's a drifting, cinematic quality that goes beyond the parameters of modern classical, crossing over into more ambient terrain. Wonderful compositions throughout, all meticulously performed and produced, leaving you with an album that established Library Tapes fans will adore, and newcomers can get well and truly hooked on.
"Excellent” (Boomkat).
