PA and projector equipment for hire

The Vortex / HCD have high specification PA and projector equipment available for hire at extremely competitive rates.

We are looking to hire the equipment primarily to community organizations and social enterprises at vastly reduced prices in order that other like-minded organizations can benefit from the use of this high specification equipment.

All hires come with a fully qualified and experienced sound engineer for the PA and an individual trained in the set up, operation and take down of the projector equipment.

Both the PA and projectors can be used for both indoor and outdoor use.

Each projector holds a 300 watt AC lamp producing 6,000 lm which makes these projectors particularly good for outdoor use as well as indoor use.

Special features

System Daylight View 2 for enhanced color perception

Image details are less clear when a projector is used in a room with the lights on. Panasonic's System Daylight View 2 improves brightness perception by adjusting sharpness, Gamma curves, and color corrections.

This produces crisper, more stunning images with vivid colors even under bright conditions.

The image from 2 or 3 projectors can also be overlaid on top of each other to increase the brightness of the image for improved use during the day.

Flexible installation

The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens shift function assures virtually distortion-free images and adds convenience and versatility. It lets you easily make adjustments with the remote control. The unit can also be rotated 360° vertically.

This means you can install it at any angle you want, to accommodate different installation conditions. Images can also be projected straight down or straight up.

Side-by-side function

The PT-DW6300US can simultaneously display images from two sources onto a single screen. For example, you can display a PC image on the left and a video image on the right.

Multi-screen support system seamlessly connects multiple screens

Edge Blending – the edges of adjacent screens can be blended and their luminance controlled i.e. a type of video triptych using 2 or 3 projectors projecting different images to create one very wide image.

Color matching – this function corrects for slight variations in the color reproduction range of individual projectors.

Multi-screen processor – the PT-DW6300 can project large, multi-screen images without any additional equipment. Up to 100 units (10 x 10) can be edge-blended at a time.
