Victor Gutierrez is a Spanish-born pianist, arranger and award-winning performer, graduate of the Berklee College of Music (Boston-USA), and the Royal Academy of Music. Victor Gutierrez has worked in projects with world-class artists like the multiple Grammy-winning Jeremy Loucas, Terri Lyne Carrington and Harvie Swartz. During his postgraduate studies he had the opportunity to play with Norma Winstone, Dave Liebman and Joe Locke.   Currently based in London, he will be presenting some original compositions as well as other arrangements of jazz standards with his international trio.

Miriam Ast is an award-winning German jazz singer, saxophonist, composer and senior lecturer based in London. She was a semi-finalist of the renowned Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition 2017 chaired by Grammy-winning vocalist Cecile McLorin Salvant and won Best Vocalist Award at the Bucharest International Jazz Competition 2017 with her duo. Miriam fuses jazz, folk and free improvisation in her original compositions written for her quintet which features some of the most talented upcoming musicians from the London jazz scene. Surprise Act: Miriam and Victor who form the award-winning Ast/Gutierrez Duo together will also present a couple of duo arrangements from their forthcoming debut album ‘Secret Songs’ during this special night.
