A rip-roaring musical ride through Eastern Europe and beyond – from plaintive Gypsy ballads to tub-thumping Romanian dance tunes, with a smattering of tango, Hot Club and klezmer – all shot through with searing jazz improvisation.
Led by violin virtuoso Piotr Jordan and his musical jousting partner Zac Gvirtzman on his “bluesy” accordion, expressive brass clarinet and Steinway Grand piano! They are joined by the irrepressible double bass of Paul Moylan, and guest vocalist Gina Boreham.
