The September edition of Grass Roots will feature a ferocious outfit named
Rhinoceros. Led by tenor saxophonist Damon Oliver, this septet’s high-energy but
controlled sound seamlessly connects the dots between contemporary jazz, rock and
electronic music.
Before, in between and after the live sets, resident DJ Mr Boogie (Soulsa/Shoreditch
Radio) will be on hand to deliver a healthy supply of cheery choons on vinyl.
