Nikki Yeoh Infinitum

Since her emergence on the British Jazz Scene in the mid 90s pianist Nikki Yeoh has proved to be an improviser, composer and all-round adventurer who has continually sought to broaden her musical horizons. Here she appears with brothers Mark and Michael Mondesir.

b. 23 May 1973, London, England. Daughter of an English mother and a Chinese-Malaysian father, Yeoh began playing piano as a tiny child and proved to be a gifted pianist. In 1996, she won The Independent award for Best Jazz Musician Of The Year and in 1999, was a semi-finalist in a Montreux jazz piano contest. In addition to performing, Yeoh also teaches at London schools.
