Robert Mitchell has released eight albums, won awards in both the UK and Europe and has led his band Panacea for 15yrs. Tonight features long term cohorts Mason on bass and Laurie Lowe on drums. Robert is a Steinway artist, and has worked with a large number of artists in jazz, classical, soul, latin, imrov and hip hop scenes – as well as grammy winners The Bournemouth Symphony Chorus and Basement Jaxx. His project – Invocation – has been performed with the amazing BSC in Bournemouth (St Peters) and London (QEH) – and is in preparation for recording (before a Polish debut in 2017). Tonight will feature new music that has just been recorded with this trio and is currently being prepped for release. Robert also currently works and tours with a fantastic array of artists – Brownswood signed firebrand Dayme Arocena (from Cuba), soul genius Shaun Escoffery, young sax great Tom Harrison and soon the superb French musician/composer Julian Lourau
