Richard Scott

Richard Scott was born in London in 1981. His poems have appeared widely in magazines and anthologies including Poetry Review, Poetry London, Swimmers, The Poetry of Sex (Penguin) and Butt Magazine. He has been a winner of the Wasafiri New Writing Prize, a Jerwood/Arvon Poetry Mentee and a member of the Aldeburgh 8. His pamphlet Wound, published by Rialto, won the Michael Marks Poetry Award 2016.

Mark Grist

Mark Grist went from being an English teacher to defeating a grime artist in a ‘student vs teacher’ rap battle that has attracted over 5 million hits on YouTube. Since then he has been on two national tours, appeared on the telly and has won several awards for his online videos. He’s been hailed as all sorts – from a “Poetry standout”(Financial Times) to a “YouTube sensation” (The Sun) and even an “unlikely heart-throb” (Guardian). He’s currently producing a film based upon his experiences with Studio Canal and is working on a new comedy/spoken word show with Tim Clare called ‘Only you Can Save Poetry.’

John Harvey

A prolific and award-winning writer of crime fiction, John Harvey is also a dramatist, sometime small press publisher and poet. His New & Selected Poems, “Out of Silence”, was published by Smith/Doorstop in 2014.

Abigail Parry

Abigail Parry lives in London, and is an editor for The Rialto. Her poems and criticism have appeared in Poetry London, The LRB, Oxford Poetry, The Asahi Shimbun and Salt’s Best British Poetry, and on BBC and RTÉ Radio. She received an Eric Gregory Award in 2010, and won the Ballymaloe Prize and the Troubadour Prize in 2016. Her first collection is forthcoming from Bloodaxe.
