Collectress have been described as a cross between the Elysian Quartet and the Brontë sisters when possessed (FoxyDigitalis.com). They are a quartet of long-term musical collaborators from London and Brighton.
With dynamic combinations of strings, keys, woodwind, found sounds and voices, they perform with a strong sense of narrative, drawing listeners into their distinctive world of experimental chamber music.

Using a thermochromic screen this piece explores the idea of light as the material substance of ‘film’: light’s movement, flickering and informing time. Melting time flickers out leaving trace-line marks - a temporal document to the action.
Andrew Waterworth: 'Looking For God'
Andrew Waterworth's latest project 'Looking for God' is a solo bass improvised performance with film, inspired by the large hadron collider amongst other things related to the ongoing discoveries of the universe.
After graduating from Trinity College of Music in 1992 Andrew went on to perform in many musical guises. Principle Bass in the contemporary group Reservoir, performer and composer in the string sextet Instrumental, bass player in the duo Ben and Jason and double bassist in the acclaimed Drum and Bass band London Elektricity. Andrew is also one of London's leading session players having worked with many diverse artists from Paul Weller to Duffy, Jelesia, The Strawbs, Nitin Sawney and David Byrne. He is currently writing and performing with Francesca Lombado and Damian Lazarus from Cross Town Rebels as well as Penguin Cafe.
