Copy and pictures intended for the programme or The Vortex website should be sent to programme (at) vortexjazz.co.uk
It would be of great help if musicians could supply their own write-ups, of 150-200 words maximum. Ideally this should include a description of the music, brief biographic highlights, line-up and a press quote.
Jpgs should be 300 dpi and no larger than 100mm in width – preferably in colour. Please do not send 72 dpi web formatted jpgs or gifs.
Please bear in mind that space restrictions do not permit the use of large pictures in the printed programme, so in general 'portrait' format close-ups or head and shoulders pictures tend to work best.
We try to include a picture for all gigs in the programme. Please be aware that because of space limitations we are not able to credit photographers.
