Somehow there's an ancient\, ritualistic feel to his performances - he's like the misplaced leader of a tribe. To see ICHI live is to witness something so playful and unusual you know that you're experiencing something entirely new. It`s fun\, it`s danceable\, it`s exciting.\n\nHe is championed by the likes of DAVID BYRNE\, BBC 6 Music’s TOM ROBINSON and LAUREN LAVERNE\, and DEERHOOF\, who invited him to play with them in New York at their event The Wordless Music Series.\n\nIchi's Blog\nTHESE FEATHERS HAVE PLUMES\nAndie Brown began working under the name These Feathers Have Plumes in 2007\, using traditional and non-traditional instrumentation and field recordings to build multi layered soundscapes.
