DESCRIPTION:Barb Jungr: Hard Rain - the songs of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen\n\n"a four star show built around her enthralling collection of songs by Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen." The Times\n\nWe're delighted to welcome Barb Jungr back for the London leg of her tour celebrating the 2014 release of HARD RAIN through Absolute records. The album\, a new collection by the leading interpreter of song and worldwide acclaimed performer of Bob Dylan's work\, brings together her hardest hitting set to date of these two great music icons\, featuring their political and philosophical songs in her contemporary arrangements.\n\n"Arguably the finest cabaret singer in recent times " (Rough Guide to Pop)\, Barb is "possibly our greatest interpreter of Dylan's songs"\, said Billy Bragg\, who introduced her onto the BBC filmed Barbican performance of Dylan's songs. At the request of her fans and lovers of two of the most glorious and philosophically tough popular songwriters ever\, Jungr is performing and recording her most demanding repertoire to date.\n\nBarb Jungr - voice\nSimon Wallace - piano\n\nwww.barbjungr.com
