SUMMARY:Double duo plus: Mark Holub/Colin Webster & Mark Holub/Irene Kepl
DESCRIPTION:A double duo concert of epic improvisational proportions. Part one features Mark Holub(Led Bib) and Colin Webster (Chik Budo) who have been playing as a duo since 2005. They have released 3 albums and their latest album on US based label New Atlantis has been picking up rave reviews across the US and Europe. All About Jazz declared “this is simply a great album by gifted and intuitive players.” The second part of the puzzle\, the duo comprising Holub and Irene Kepl has been playing together since Holub's arrival in Vienna in 2012. They played together at the Vortex in 2013. The pair have just released their own CD on Slam Productions\, which has picked up praise from New York's Downtown Music Gallery who say “It is a thoroughly inspired offering”\n\nThe concert will feature both duos in turn and culminate in all three musicians improvising together.
