DESCRIPTION:Freestone’s new trio has been gaining great attention for her as of late. Comprised of long-time musical associates in uber-creative drummer Tim Giles and the highly original bassist Dave Manington\, Tori has been developing her own repertoire which explores the openness that the saxophone trio allows while taking inspiration from some of the non-chordal sax led trios of the moment.  The band had a great year touring the UK and abroad in 2014 and the album 'In the Chophouse' was picked as one of the top 10 albums of the year by All about jazz. Look forward to an evening with Tori's highly personal and distinct voice as both player and  composer on display.
