DESCRIPTION:The very popular music sessions for parents and little ones (0-5 yr olds).  Described as "uplifting and energising" and "such a fun\, high quality experience".   These interactive\, energetic sessions involve learning songs from around the world and original tunes and combining them with a bit of a workout!   Tots Tunes is a chance for local hackney parents to have a bit of fun\, listen to and sing some quality ‘non baby’ acoustic music.\n\nExpect to hear new tunes\, revamped tunes\, folk tunes.\n\n \n\nAll sessions are accompanied by cello and djembe.\n\nThursdays 10am and 11am  £6 (all classes drop-in so no need to book)\n\n

DESCRIPTION:For the past forty years Evan  Parker has mainly performed free improvised jazz either as a soloist or within a group. He has had extraordinary collaborations with musicians as diverse as Cecil Taylor\, Paul Bley & Anthony Braxton\, and Scott Walker\, Robert Wyatt and Squarepusher\n\nAs well as being a part of the European improvising force he has also collaborated with many American innovators and has been sought out by experimental fringe artist .In his regular monthly slot\,  he returns to the Vortex to offer the appreciative audience more of his special music.\n\n
