DESCRIPTION:Estelle Kokot - Your Half Of The Moon\nHaving ​recently returned​ from South Africa where she performed at The Joy of Jazz Festival with Chicago born saxophonist Chico Freeman\, ‘Seductively poetic South African Singer Songwriter’ Estelle Kokot previews ​her new solo show Your Half Of The Moon. 'I met poet and creative web designer Max Hillman​ in 2005 on Myspace and over the years I have been setting music to his poetry. Tonight I will be showcasing some of these works and paying tribute to Afrikaans poet Ingrid Jonker whose poem 'Die Kind' (The Child) was recited by Nelson Mandela at the opening of the first democratically elected South African parliament on the 24th of May 1994.
