DESCRIPTION:As ever it's a delight to welcome back Olie Brice\, especially with his own band. Olie is well know to Vortex audiences\, having performed here with Tony Malaby\, Paul Dunmall\, Evan Parker and many others.  He has released recently a duo with Dutch saxophonist Toby Delius and there are plans to release an album (recorded at the Vortex) with the top German prize winning pianist Achim Kaufmann.\n\nTonight the quintet will feature Olie on double bass\, Alex Bonney on trumpet\, George Crowley on tenor sax\, Mike Fletcher on C-Melody sax and Jeff Williams on drums.\n\nThey will be playing new music ahead of recording.
