DESCRIPTION:Stephen Graham (Marlbank.net\, former Jazzwise editor) says:\n"The Austrian guitarist whose album Wild Life is one of the best modern mainstream albums I’ve heard this year…….has been touring with the Electric Biddle a good deal in France with Julien Lourau and is fast gaining an international reputation and understandably so given his natural flair and the sheer jazz empathy he has at his fingertips and so happily for any audience he is playing to shares."\n\nFor this one date in particular he’s teaming up with master drummer Paul Clarvis (the percussion magician from Pigfoot\, Orquestra Mahatma and more) who’s known for his particularly personal style of playing\, together with award-winning saxophonist Josh Arcoleo (Joss Stone\, Jeff Williams\, Stan Sulzmann) and fantastic bassist Calum Gourlay.\n\nExpect some tunes from Riepler’s recent album mixed with some revisitations of some 60’s Blue Note type tunes.
