SUMMARY:Vlad Miller - Notes from Underground
DESCRIPTION:Vlad Miller – piano\nLes Booth – six- string electric bass\nDave Rohoman – drums\nAdrian Northover – saxes\n\nThe band takes its name from the book by Dostoevsky\, reflecting Miller's own stimuli of Russian music and jazz. The effect that ‘Notes From Underground’ want to have on their listeners is immediate\, direct\, and accessible in the best sense. They want their music to grab your ears and your body and not let go until you’ve been variously pulverised\, pummelled\, or pleasured into submission.\n\nVlad Miller and notes from underground is a band that has lasted the course of time\,  using Vlad’s compositions as a starting point for a collaborative repertoire.  Largely stimulated by jazz and Russian music traditions\, strong melodies weave into colourful improvisation.
