DESCRIPTION:The very popular music sessions for parents and little ones (0-5 yr olds).  Described as "uplifting and energising" and "such a fun\, high quality experience".   These interactive\, energetic sessions involve learning songs from around the world and original tunes and combining them with a bit of a workout!   Tots Tunes is a chance for local hackney parents to have a bit of fun\, listen to and sing some quality ‘non baby’ acoustic music.\n\nExpect to hear new tunes\, revamped tunes\, folk tunes.\n\nAll sessions are accompanied by cello and djembe.\n\nThursdays\n\n10 am - 11 am\n\n11 am  - 12 pm\n\n£6 (all classes drop-in so no need to book)\n\nTots Tunes is a SoundsCreative neighbourhood projects led by cellist Tara Franks\n\nwww.facebook.com/totstuneswithtara\n\nsoundscreativeprojects.co.uk/neighbourhood-projects\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:This October Andrea Vicari\, jazz pianist and composer and her band will be touring the UK playing the music from her latest album ‘The Mirror’. Joining Andrea on Sax will be sax virtuoso Mornington Lockett\, on guitar Croatian legend Elvis Stanic\, Nic France on drums.\nAfter the UK-wide success of their JazzExtemporeUK project Andrea Vicari (piano\, UK) and Elvis Stanic (guitar\, Croatia) have teamed up together again to produce a new album. The ‘Mirror’ is a suite of music initially commissioned from Andrea Vicari by ‘Leasowes festival’ 2007 in Shropshire and now recorded with Mornington Lockett on sax\, Dorian Lockett on bass and Nic France on drums. The music is all Andrea Vicari original compositions based on varied styles and grooves from Flamenco to South African rhythms; whilst showcasing the extraordinary improvisational skills of virtuosos Mornington Lockett (sax) and Elvis Stanic (guitar) - as well as her own piano playing described by JazzUK magazine as " a constant delight - intense\, probing\, and generating a seemingly endless succession of ideas"\nListen to some of the music here\n
