DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLOOP CLUB NIGHT\n\nFOFOULAH SOUND SYSTEM\n\n\nLEAFCUTTER JOHN\nSURVIVAL SKILLS\n\n\nDAN NICHOLLS / ALEX BONNEY\n\n\nBE NICE\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nLoop Collective curates a club night featuring some of London's most distinctive artists in the worlds of improvised music\, electronica\, West African and jazz for a unique night exploring the boundaries between dance music and improvisation.\n\n\nIn the midst of the London Jazz Festival this event takes the unknown as a starting point for merging different acts together and features musicians who work with acts as far-ranging as Squarepusher\, Robert Plant\, Polar Bear and Shiver. From the West African imbued sci-fi synths and dub bass of Fofoulah Sound System\, to the shimmering beats and lo-fi sampling of Survival Skills\, the electronic wizardry of Leafcutter John and all-out hardware techno from Dan Nicholls/Alex Bonney and Be Nice (Sharkey/Nicholls).\n\nExpect big beats\, exhilarating interplay and wildly eclectic grooves. \n\n\nPlease note: this replaces the original planned concert by Trance Map. Evan Parker is back at the Vortex on 22 November.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
