After meeting during their studies at Leeds College of Music in 2007\, this concert marks a musical reunion after almost 10 years! The group also features Birmingham-based multi-instrumentalist and composer Percy Pursglove\, and Tim Giles\, one of the most in-demand drummers in London's musical landscape.\n\n\n\nTom Harrison:\n\nFor alto saxophonist/composer Tom Harrison\, the art of jazz is far more than mastery of the instrument\, fluency in the repertoire and respect for the tradition. For Tom\, the real undertaking is to connect with that which inspired the immortals of jazz\, and to cultivate it within his own work. 2016 saw the release of Harrison's second album Unfolding In Tempo\, described by BBC Music Magazine as a "stormy\, no-holds barred live set." The group was a success with audiences as well as critics\, with a major tour of festivals and theatres across the UK.
