DESCRIPTION:The collaboration of Toby Delius\, one of the stalwarts of the ICP Orchestra\, but also a leading saxophonist of incredible breadth\, with bassist Olie Brice\, has developed to a high level since they first toured together in 2013. A duo concert tonight both shows the continuation of their musical friendship and acts as a curtain raiser for our two days with the ICP Orchestra.\n\nThe album Somersaults on the Two Rivers label (also including Mark Sanders on drums) was one of the results receiving high praise\, e.g.  "a conversational brand of low key free jazz that veers off at tangents depending on individual whim" (John Sharpe\, allaboutjazz).\n\nCheck out the duo in a special concert Downstairs on 27 March.\n\nhttps://youtu.be/-LKy7kQez1I\n
