DESCRIPTION:Blazing Flame Quintet are Julian Dale (double bass\, cello)\, Peter Evans (5-string electric violin)\, Anton Henley (drums\, percussion)\,  Steve Day (voice\, words\, percussion) and Mark Langford (tenor sax\, bass clarinet).\n There’s a buzz about Blazing Flame Quintet which makes this date a ‘must-go-to’ gig.  Rigobert Dittman described vocalist/poet Steve Day’s music as having “astonishing imagination and an alchemical flame...” and Jazzwise has referred to Peter Evan’s electric violin being on “starling form”.  They include a true phenomenon of the UK scene\, Mark Langford\, tenor sax & bass clarinet.  The band is deep into their own song-form seared through with instrumental exploratory improv\, an ‘entertainment’ that poses questions with a curiosity of possible answers\n  “...a formidable group of improvisers.” Ian Maund\, Sandy Brown Jazz\n
