DESCRIPTION:'Robert Mitchell returns to the Vortex to launch his 9th album! His new trio - Epiphany3 -  features Tom Mason (Bass) and Saleem Raman (Drums). Tonight they are joined by two very special guests. \nMasumi Endo is a fantastic dancer who has worked with De Lata\, Jass B.B.B.Box and many others - having partly studied with legends Gary Nurse and Izumi Tomohide. Julien Lourau is one of Europe's greatest saxophonists and has worked with Abbey Lincoln\, Henry Texier and Bojan Z amongst many (Robert is a member of his unique new 9piece - Groove Retrievers). The new album 'A Vigil For Justice. A Vigil For Peace' is inspired by irritation with ongoing inequalities\, lack of justice for those most in need\, unfulfilled potential\, the political process and forced migration. It features original music and poetry (from a forthcoming collection). The album is released today (vinyl/download) on the new Depth Of Field label.'\n\n\n
