SUMMARY:Dugong
DESCRIPTION:Nicolò Ricci - Tenor Saxophone\n\nMichele Caiati - Guitar\n\nAndrea Di Biase - Double Bass\n\nRiccardo Chiaberta - Drums\n\n \n\nAlbum Launch for Dugong's second release for Honolulu Records. A rare opportunity to catch one of the most creative bands in the Italian jazz scene.\n\nDugong is an up-and-coming band by some of the best musicians of the Italian jazz scene. It was originally created in Milan by guitarist Michele Caiati and saxophonist Nicolò Ricci\, but it was later expanded abroad to London based bassist Andrea Di Biase and drummer Riccardo Chiaberta. They released their debut album “Miscommunication” in 2014 with critical acclaim and toured it extensively in Italy\, Switzerland and UK. They are touring Europe for their second album released in May 2018. The band has a very individual sound which draws inspiration from many genres of music\, from Alternative Rock to Modern Jazz to Contemporary classical music.\n\nInternationally renowned saxophonist Tino Tracanna: "An extraordinary attention to the harmonic and rhythmic counterpoint is combined with a very rare sense of melody".\n\n[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFd1rzxLN2w[/embed]
