DESCRIPTION:Eirik Svela - guitar\nMatt Anderson - saxophone\nJamil Sheriff - piano\nAndrew Robb - bass\nMagnus Sefaniassen Eide - drums\n\nNow back in his native Norway after a long stint in the UK\, jazz guitarist Eirik Svela is establishing himself as an important voice amongst a new generation of jazz musicians in Oslo. In March 2018 he recorded his debut album in New York with the internationally acclaimed organ player Sam Yahel (Joshua Redman\, Norah Jones) and in November he will be touring in England with his band Eirik Svela Group. The band has preformed extensively in Norway and this UK edition features some great musicians including Jamil Sheriff (piano)\, Matt Anderson (saxophone) and Andrew Robb (bass).
