DESCRIPTION:Kenny Wheeler's Suite Time Suite from his ECM recording Music for Large and Small Ensembles is one of his most popular pieces\, hugely loved by players and audiences alike.  Kenny worked with the Guildhall Jazz Orchestra\, recognised as one of the world's top student bands\, on many occasions\, and after successfully integrating singers with big band on Walk Softly\, his 1986 Wave Records recording with the Guildhall Jazz Band and Singers\, he and Stroman did the same for a tour of the Suite.  \n\nThe close-harmony Guildhall Jazz Singers will precede the Suite with a short first set. Get there early for this one: the 30 performers on stage mean that there are a few less seats in the club.
