His compositions come from life\, reflecting universal emotions surrounding love\, death and belonging\, weaving together influences from jazz\, folk and classical music.\n\nIn Opera\, each composition is a song without words\, coloured by evocative harmony and textural percussion. Lyrical guitar-led melodies soar above intricate piano harmonies whilst double bass and drums provide further colour as well as rhythmic drive. Together the ensemble explores these settings\, these different moods and crafts beautiful and sincere music.\n\nAubin Vanns is one of the most exciting young guitarists in the UK. He plays with a reassuring maturity\, passion and genuine spontaneity. He is well-aided by some of the finest creative musicians in London\, who between them have performed with artists including Chris Potter\, Kenny Wheeler\, Peter Bernstein\, Dick Oatts\, Bobby Wellins and Elliot Galvin.\n\n\n
