DESCRIPTION:Seamus Blake (sax)\nHayden Powell (trumpet)\nEspen Berg (piano)\nJesper Bodilsen (bass)\nAnders Thorén (drums)\n \n\nBRIDGES with Seamus Blake is a modern\, Nordic jazz project with a vision to construct new musical bridges between Norway and other parts of the world. The band in its first version consists of master-saxophonist Seamus Blake (John Scofield\, Antonio Sanchez\, Mingus Big Band\, winner of Thelonius Monk Prize)\, and four Scandinavian jazz artists of the highest pedigree: highly-acclaimed trumpeter Hayden Powell and award-winnning Espen Berg on piano from Norway\, the incredible bass player Jesper Bodilsen from Denmark (Enrico Rava\, Stefano Bollani)\, and last but not least Anders Thorén from Sweden on drums\, who is also the leader of the group. Anders has a diploma from LA College of Music in Los Angeles and has studied under masters such as Peter Erskine\, Marcus Gilmore\, Dave Weckl\, Ricky Lawson and Joe Porcaro and has performed live and recorded with many grammy-winning artists from the Nordic countries over the last few years.\n\nAfter releasing the highly-acclaimed self-titled debut album BRIDGES with Seamus Blake in November 2016\, the band completed a successful European tour in the fall of 2017 and several concerts and major festivals in 2018. In February 2019 they released their second studio album Continuum that currently is reviews incredible reviews from all corners of the world.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:\nBAND MEMBERS:\nLegendary drummer Winston Clifford won the British Jazz awards in 2018.\nKeys player Dorian Ford is one of the most in demand keys players in the UK.\nLeading bass players Jihad Darwish and Andy Hamill alternate as the LEB bassists.\nVocalist / lead guitarist Jon Collins.\n \n\n\nLondon Electric Blues band was formed in 2018 in Hackney by vocalist / lead guitarist Jon Collins.\nThe band plays a mix of covers and original material including the works of Bill Withers\, Buddy Guy\, BB King\, Albert Collins and Santana. The band provides Latin Blues flavours\, raw Chicago Blues sounds or the Southern Soul of Withers and other artists.\nOriginal material by Jon Collins includes 'There's A Girl Out There' and 'Got to Go Fixing'\nDalston Jazz Bar\, The Vortex Downstairs and The Tabernacle W11 are amongst some of the venues played by London Electric Blues.
