DESCRIPTION: \n\nAcclaimed composer/ arranger John Warren directs his all-star Nonet in a programme of his exciting\, diverse and melodic music including the suite 'AwhereAbout' – a portrait of his homeland inspired by First Nation legends. Canadian expat Warren formed his big band in '68 that featured such luminaries as John Surman\, Kenny Wheeler\, John Taylor\, Stan Sulzmann and Alan Skidmore and performed throughout the UK and in Germany and Switzerland. The band's recording of his suite 'Tales of the Algoquin' drew accolades and has been performed in Sweden\, Germany and Canada.
