SUMMARY:Matt Sulzmann/Stan Sulzmann Quintet
DESCRIPTION:This brand new project represents the first collaborative outing of father/son duo Matt and  Stan Sulzmann. Having previously toured together as part of Stan's big band project "Neon Orchestra"\, this small group will focus on the pair's original compositions\, as well as re-imaginations of their favorite standards. They will be joined by the stellar rhythm section of Will Barry on piano\, Flo Moore on bass\, and David Ingamells on drums.\n\nMatthew is a London-based soprano/alto saxophonist and composer. Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music\, he has performed with Neon Orchestra\, Dom Ingham Sextet\, James Brady's "Voyagers"\, and the London Jazz Orchestra. Matthew also leads his own group\, which was recently selected to perform in a series of concerts "Shape Of Jazz To Come" supported by Dave Holland and Evan Parker fund.\n\nA veteran of the UK jazz scene\, Stan Sulzmann has a rich and varied career that has included playing with musicians as diverse as Kenny Wheeler\, Larry Grenadier and Gwilym Simcock\, as well as a prolific output as bandleader.
