Tim Lefebvre\, recorded at the Vortex in March 2019. JZ Replacement is the newest London project by saxophonist Zhenya Strigalev (Eric Harland\, Ambrose Akinmusire) and drummer Jamie Murray (Sun Ra Arkestra\, Native Dancer)\, joined on stage by bass master from Los Angeles\, Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie\, Wayne Krantz\, Knower\, Donny McCaslin\, Mark Guiliana…)\n\nWe realise that there is a lot of uncertainty about the coming months\, but if you’re in a position to support us\, then please consider making a donation of £3-5 per gig: https://bit.ly/3e7l8Pc\n\nSince closing our doors to the public on the 17th March\, we have been getting together a programme of events to keep showcasing the best jazz and improvised music from across the UK and the world.
