SUMMARY:Vortex discussion 51: Speaking to the soul
DESCRIPTION:“I’d like to point out to people the divine in a musical language that transcends words. I want to speak to their souls.”\n(John Coltrane)\n\nCan music not just speak to\, but also heighten one's inner awareness? This takes our awareness of music and art into further dimensions. Or perhaps this is reading too much into it?\n\nTaking it further\, there is also a discussion about how music compares with other ways of perhaps doing this - art\, words\, meditation?\n\nThis week's discussion\, mediated by Vortex director Oliver Weindling\, is open to all. Keen to express inner self\, or just dismiss some of this as pure claptrap! Or just to listen.\n\nHope to see you there.\n\n-----------------------------------------------\n\nTopic: Vortex discussion 51 - Speaking to the soul\nTime: Apr 21\, 2021 05:30 PM London\n\nJoin Zoom Meeting\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/4934035526\n\nMeeting ID: 493 403 5526\n\n\n\n\n
