SUMMARY:Vortex discussion 63 - Streaming and how to move beyond Spotify
DESCRIPTION:This week’s discussion focuses again on how the music and performers and can earn money. Especially after the year of the pandemic.\n\nWith not enough gigs where to sell music\, we have moved more and more online to hear and disseminate the music. The recent parliamentary report in the UK highlighted the bias of Spotify and similar to the big boys and away from musicians.\n\nBut how well are the alternatives developing\, such as Bandcamp or other direct routes where a better percentage goes to the artist. We have discussed this before\, but t constantly repays revisiting.\n\nThis week’s discussion\, open to all\, looks again at this issue.\n\nOpen to those who have a story to tell\, or those who just want to listen.\n\n \n\nJoin Zoom Meeting\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/89127868501?pwd=bVBNc21tT3hwWDJ2QTV5RnFxMytRQT09\n\nMeeting ID: 891 2786 8501\nPasscode: 906405\n\n
