SUMMARY:Vortex discussion 72 - Creation or Re-creation?
DESCRIPTION:As we come out of the worst of the lockdowns for now\, and live music and collaboration return\, we are returning to the subject of what the new activities are like. There was the good fortune of support for the sector in many countries\, though not all. Are musicians really able to express their creativity again as before\, developing new and innovative ideas? Or is it possible that those who focus on purely reinterpretations and similar actually dominate\, as some believe? And what about the recorded sector\, which\, more than ever\, seems dominated by digital streams\, where the returns to musicians are extremely low.\nJoin our weekly discussion via Zoom\, which has been running for nearly 18 months\, and have a broad-ranging conversation\, led by Vortex director Oliver Weindling.\n\n-----------------------------\n\nJoin Zoom Meeting\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/82982833986?pwd=eXFPN3c4TlNURGhaNGRWVnpwOXo4dz09\n\nMeeting ID: 829 8283 3986\nPasscode: 255029
