SUMMARY:Vortex discussion 76 - jazz and the environment
DESCRIPTION:Jazz musicians are on the road a lot affecting the environment when they travel\, they use studios which consume a lot of energy. Or should we just act as ambassadors against climate change and not worry?\n\nSo\, in what ways can we improve things? Should we do more online? Should we do recordings remotely? Can we cut travel?\n\nFollowing on our gig as part of Tällberg Foundation's Jazz For The Planet\, today we discuss what could be done. Open to all\, whether active or passive. For more about Tällberg Foundation\, go to the link here.\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7BF1pcobUA\n\n\n\n \n\nTopic: Discussion 76 - the environment\nTime: Nov 3\, 2021 05:30 PM London\n\nJoin Zoom Meeting\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/83842795682?pwd=WFlPTkpzU2ltZnJ4Q2VvQTAyOTdhZz09\n\nMeeting ID: 838 4279 5682\nPasscode: 766743\n\n
