DESCRIPTION:Doors 8pm\, music 8.30pm\n \nLine-up:\nQuentin Collins - Trumpet / Flugelhorn\n\nBrandon Allen - Tenor Sax\n\nAlex Garnett - Alto Sax\n\nWill Barry - Piano\n\nLarry Bartley - Bass\n\nRod Youngs - Drums\n\n \nAbout\nAs one of the hardest working and in-demand internationally renowned jazz trumpet players\, Collins formed an all-star group in 2019\, which was a progression of his quintet with alto sax ace\, Tom Harrison\, giving birth to the Quentin Collins Sextet.\nOn their debut release ‘Road Warrior’\, Collins’ overarching ambition was to record an album\, consisting of original material\, with the joint collaboration of a select US-based rhythm section (featuring Dan Nimmer/Willie Jones III/Joe Sanders) and an established UK-based horn section. The end result was a collection of highly acclaimed\, straight- ahead contemporary bop\, composed equally by Collins and Harrison.\n\nCollins has assembled a front line of heavy hitters on this special double show- his long time collaborator and tenor sax sensation Brandon Allen as well as London Hero Alex Garnett on alto. Rounding off an all-star lineup is Will Barry on piano\, Larry Bartley on bass and Rod Youngs on drums.
