DESCRIPTION:James Allsopp\, one of our most imaginative saxophonists\, both technically and lyrically\,  has managed to get together for this one-off show two of our great jazz musicians\, generally nowadays not to be heard in London. Leading his own bands\, such as Fraud\, or as a crucial member of the anarchic Pigfoot\, he is mesmerising.\n\nPaul Rogers\, bassist extraordinaire\, was for over 25 years a stalwart of the legendary quartet Mujician\, led by Keith Tippett. More recently we were lucky to hear him as part of the award-winning trio Whahay!\, which focussed on Charles Mingus. But these are just a small part of his wide-ranging skills.\n\nSteve Davis\, briefly over from Belfast\, was last heard here playing in the quartet with Anthony Braxton. However\, he is also a long-term collaborator as part of Bourne Davis Kane and also the leader of the band Human.\n\nHumour\, standards and more. Not to be missed.\n\nTHIS CONCERT WILL TAKE PLACE DOWNSTAIRS
