Head hunted by Bass player Michael Janisch\, Rachael became the first female to be signed to his now internationally renowned label 'Whirlwind Recordings'\, releasing her debut album 'Halftime' in 2013 to critical acclaim. Rachael is a mainstay at London's most famous Jazz Club – Ronnie Scott's\, where she can be found performing with her own quartet\, and hosting the ever popular ‘late late show’. Also a dab hand with the pen\, Rachael composes a huge amount of music for her own ensembles\, most notably for her groups with NY drummer Jason Brown and Empirical vibraphonist Lewis Wright. Rachael can be found playing anywhere from the Vortex Jazz Club and Hackney institution The Haggerston\, to overseas at the clubs of New York City such as Smalls Jazz Club.
