With some rather spectacular ambitions and work ethic Bex Moon is definitely an artist to follow\, especially by fans of music with an eclectic and colorful feel.\n\n9: 10pm The New Sincere is an alt-folk project that serves mainly as therapy for it's creator\, himself a therapist.\n\nThrough wry humor and provocative imagery\, his music offers a frank commentary on the complexities of modern life and the challenge of finding meaning and happiness in a world so often overwhelming and unsatisfying.\n\nWith sharp wit and biting lyrics\, he aims to tear himself and the world to pieces\, only to reconstruct them in a way more beautiful and hopeful than how he found them.\n\n9:35pm Aura Jae -  A captivating performer with a powerful voice who blending pop\, soul\, R&B\, and reggae. On stage\, she exudes confidence and charisma\, off stage\, she is down-to-earth and approachable\, often taking time to connect with the people. With over ten years of experience as improvisation vocalist for electronic music live acts\, AURA JAE has honed her skills in engaging and hyping up crowds. Her unique style delivers memorable performances that leave us wanting more.\n\n10pm Patrick Frame\n\n10:30 Angel Parker - Acoustic guitar and spiritual singer\n\n10: 50 Mooncat Phoenix - Irish acoustic punk\, orginal songs and covers. Specialising in a new form of Entertainment Enlightenment\, The Billion Buddha Bitch utilises zen-style musical comedy\, as well as spoken word poetry\, to help awaken people to their natural state of joy\, love and peace.\n\nWhile many people assume they know who or what Lord Lucifer is\, She often reminds people that “I have been misrepresented by those who do not know me”. SUMMARY:The Shape of Jazz To Come Presents: The Lucumi Project - Steelpan meets Afrobeat
DESCRIPTION:Doors 7:45 PM\, Music 8:30 PM\n\n \nLine-up:\nDavid Ijaduola (drums)\n\nMarlon Hibbert (tenor pan)\n\nMarcus Cumberbatch-King (double seconds)\n\nKishan Shorter (cello pan)\n\nChristos Stylianides (trumpet)\n\nSimeon May (t/sax)\n\nEmmanuel Adeniran (b/guitar)\nAbout\nLast summer with support from the PRSF for Music we commissioned David Ijaduola to compose a suite of music to be performed with a steelband and brass section at our Feed the Soul Festival 2022 in Gillett Square. The compositions became known as the Lucumi Suite.\n\nOnce again we are delighted to present the Lucumi Project led by the composer/arranger/drummer David Ijaduola this time leading a seven piece ensemble performing his compositions from the Lucumi Suite the sound of afrobeats fused with Caribbean rhythms - the steel pan and brass together is pure magic.\n\nMulti-instrumentalist David Ijaduola has been arranging and composing for steelband since he was fifteen. He has won several awards as a young steelpan player. In 2013 he established the youth division of Ebony Steel Band that went on to win a number of steel band competitions. He has worked with artists such as the band Rudimental – featuring as a pan player on the track ‘Right Here’\, JP Cooper\, and toured as the drummer for Sona Jobarteh and Dele Sosime.\n\n \n\n \n\nLucumi: Live at the Vortex Jazz Club feat.
