She is a recent graduate of the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she studied double bass.\n\nAmy's music comes from her deep knowledge of the repertoire\, with influences from Betty Carter and Wayne Shorter to modern pop artists such as D'Angelo and Kimbra. Her performances at the Jazz Cafe\, EFG London Jazz Festival and We Out Here were celebrations of freedom and black pride and widely acclaimed. Amy's first single\, 'Everything I do' was one of Jazz FM's tracks of the week.\n\nUnsurprisingly Amy is highly in demand\, and has partnerships with Jazz re:freshed and Fender.
