DESCRIPTION:Doors 7:30 PM\, Music 8:00 PM - 2 set(s) of music\n \nAbout\nThe Austrian Cultural Forum London is delighted to invite you to this year's JazzExchange celebrating cutting edge Austrian music in a cultural exchange with some of the most exciting UK ensembles.\n\nHeadlining will be the Austrian Trio DSILTON\, the band of Georg Vogel\, David Dornig and Valentin Duit focusing on 31-tone compositions by Georg Vogel and David Dornig\, written for custom made instruments which feature 31-tone split sharps keyboards\, a 31-tone guitar and drums dividing octaves into 31 tones therefore emphasizing a plethora of microtonalities.\n\nSupport act will be Rich Perks and Julian Woods duo Xenharmonia who explore fresh sonic territory through the use of microtones\, by combining fretlessness with quarter-tone and other fixed-fret guitar configurations.\n\n
