His influences include modern greats such as Chick Corea and Norma Winstone and more tradition-rooted players like Bill Charlap and Dick Hyman\, but also range back as far as Teddy Wilson and Fats Waller. He lives in Germany and is a regular at the Frankfurt Jazzkeller\, also hosting a residency in his adopted home Mainz.\n\nOne year after debuting his new trio line-up with Jay Davis and long-time collaborator Tom Farmer\, the band returns to the Vortex for what promises to be a hugely enjoyable evening of standards\, originals and arrangements\, with music ranging from the Great American Songbook to adaptations from the singer-songwriter and folk song repertoire.\n\n \n\n[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FD1AVLUOXIQ[/embed]
