His quick and highly textural playing filled with rhythmic complexity makes him a highly in-demand member of the fertile jazz & improvised music community. In turns both propulsive and abstract\, Lisle has worked with many leading voices on the UK and European improvised music scene\, including Kit Downes\, John Edwards\, Alex Ward\, Charlotte Keeffe\, Ab Baars\, Rodrigo Amado and John Dikeman\, Colin Webster\, Dirk Serries.\n\nRachel Musson is a saxophonist\, improviser and composer living in London\, UK. She is involved with a variety of improvisation projects\, and works regularly with Mark Sanders\, Pat Thomas\, Hannah Marshall\, Julie Kjaer\, Corey Mwamba\, Olie Brice\, Alex Ward\, Alex Hawkins amongst others. She features on several releases\, including a nonet featuring her composition 'I Went This Way' (577 Records)\, two with Shifa\, feat. Pat Thomas and Mark Sanders\, (577 Records)\, one with Mark Sanders and John Edwards (Two Rivers Records)\, trio with Liam Noble and Mark Sanders (Babel)\, and Corey Mwamba (Takuroku).\n\nLuis Vicente is a portuguese trumpet player based in Lisbon. He’s a very active musician\, playing in several groups with diferent concepts – from totally free to composed music – having always present the sense of freedom\, which he can never leave aside. He performed and recorded with Carlos Zingaro\, Wilbert De Joode\, Akira Sakata\, Johannes Bauer\, William Parker\, Tony Malaby\, Hamid Drake\, Michael Moore\, Roger Turner\, Mars Williams\, Jorrit Dijkstra\, Jasper Stadhouders\, Mary Oliver\, Paal Nilsen Love\, Joost Buis\, Tobias Delius\, Wolter Wierbos\, Frank Gratkowski\, Mark Sanders\, John Edwards\, Paul Dunmall\, Olie Brice\, Marco Franco\, Mette Rasmussen\, John Dikeman\, Luke Stewart\, Alexander Hawkins\, Ziv Taubenfeld\, Roberto Negro\, John Butcher\, João Lobo\, Valentin Ceccaldi\, Seppe Gebruers\, Onno Govaert\, Théo Ceccaldi.\n\nCaius Williams is an improviser\, bassist\, and composer from London with a varied practice including improvised music\, electronic music\, and projects exploring experimental approaches to composition.\nAlongside his involvement in various groups and partnerships in and around London\, Caius works frequently as a bandleader\, and has recently completed and recorded his first large-ensemble project (‘Thread’)\, and a solo project for double bass\, released via Cafe Oto’s OTOROKU label. Some current collaborative/supportive roles include a duo project with guitarist Tara Cunningham\, playing for songwriter and producer ‘feeo’\, and recently working in ‘Lifetones’: a project led by Charles Bullen of ‘This Heat’\, alongside working with many of London’s notable improvisers. The set brings a narrative of pumping dance music contrasted with improvised live drumming. This is coupled with bespoke lighting to create a show that blows apart expectations of what solo drumming can be and what iazz-fusion performances can show you\n\nPower Out has performed at festivals such as Manchester Jazz festival\, No Bounds Festival\, and London Jazz Festival.\n\n“For one person\, the clatter was extraordinary; Power Out was positively electrifying.” Now Then magazine\, 2021\n\n \n\nMyra Brownbridge\n\nDouble bassist and composer\, Myra Brownbridge is a force of nature taking the UK jazz scene by storm. Myra explores the range of human experience and mood deeply rooted in the jazz tradition influenced by legends such as Duke Ellington\, Billy Strayhorn\, Thelonious Monk and Charlie Haden. In her London Jazz Festival debut Myra Brownbridge’s quartet will present music from her debut album and her latest compositions strongly influenced by her recent musical adventures in Denmark.
