New music\, new collaborations put together by some of our most exciting new musicians.\n\nThis month\, curated by Kasper Rietkerk\, who will bring a little of the Dutch "Sinterklaas" tradition to the Vortex stage with special arrangements of 4 children folk songs.\n\nThe evening will feature special guests Scottie Thompson on piano and Cubby Howard on cello.\n\nA chance to meet and find out what is at the cutting edge of London jazz and improvised music.\n\nThe other curators are Alex Lockheart\, Jakub Klimiuk\, Caius Williams\, Marta Gornicka\, Rebecka Edlund\, who will also be there to perform.\n\n“The jaw-dropping quality of these musicians means that ‘Whirlpool’ certainly deserves to succeed.” (Londonjazznews)\n\nThe series is developed in collaboration with Royal Academy of Music\, GSMAD\, Trinity Laban.\n\nWe are looking for young photographers and bloggers who want the chance to develop their skills through working with the creative team here.
