DESCRIPTION:Doors 2:30 PM\, Music 3:00 PM\n \nABOUT\n \nThe London Jazz Orchestra\, directed by Scott Stroman\, features outstanding soloist/writers in every chair\, including trumpeter Henry Lowther\, pianist Alcyona Mick\, saxophonists Pete Hurt and Tori Freestone\, trombonist Martin Gladdish\, guitarist Nick Costly-White\, bassist Calum Gourlay and drummer Paul Clarvis.\n\nThe band's 32nd season at the Vortex has featured a rush of new music\, with great new pieces arriving at every gig.  This month the band takes stock\, pulling them together (with some LJO favourites) into a special set for the Easter season.\n

DESCRIPTION:Doors 7.45pm\, music 8.15pm\n\n \nHouse band\nTBC\n\n \nAbout\n\n\n\n\n\nA weekly session on Sunday evenings\, the jams will be hosted by four of London’s finest: drummer Jas Kayser\, pianist Rick Simpson and tenor saxophonists Helena Kay and Riley Stone-Lonergan\, each one hosting one session on rotation.\n\nIf you’re an instrumentalist  you can attend for free if you’re planning on playing with the house band. No need to book in advance!\n\nOur dear Vortex members are also welcome to these sessions free of charge.\n\n\n\n\n
