Luckily for me I grew up in King’s Cross\, so as a teenager\, visits to my  record shop ‘ Mole Jazz’ were almost a daily occurrence. The guys who owned the shop were fully immersed in the free jazz scene and pointed me in the right direction of ‘who to check out’. On my quest\, I stumbled across ‘Mujician’; the seminal band featuring the titans Keith Tippet\, Tony Levin\, Paul Rogers and Paul Dunmall. I was mesmerised.\n\nTo be invited by Paul Dunmall to play with this incredible line up featuring Mark Sanders (drums) and Olie Brice (bass) in Birmingham is such an honour for me.
