This programme represents the culmination of workshops with this special group of Royal Academy of Music students\, connected by a keen interest in delving deeper into individual expression and exploring collaborative forms of real-time music-making.\nThe group’s playing journey will take in works from a range of forward-thinking contemporary composers including: Cornelius Cardew\, Joseph Kurdika\, and Christian Wolff\, as well as celebrating the vibrant London improv scene with works by Barry Guy\, Cath Roberts\, and Matt London; culminating in a bespoke collection of pieces for the night’s programme.\n
